GALVESTON, TX - A 3-day training seminar of the Airborn Law Enforcement Association kicked off yesterday at the San Luis Resort and Convention Center on Seawall Blvd.
Officers representing federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies from through the central region of Texas are in attendance for the conference targeting police pilots and tactical flight officers.
The event is being hosted by Jamaica Beach Police Chief Andy Mclane and is attended by about 120 officers.
Wednesday's events included water survival training practical applications in the San Luis swimming pool.
