ANGLETON - Police believe they're "very close to making an arrest" of the man they said robbed a sandwich shop at gunpoint Thursday night.

A masked man walked into the restaurant in the 1100 block of East Mulberry Street in Angleton at about 9:50 p.m. and demanded money, Angleton Police Detective Rodney Crisp said. The man had a handgun and the two female clerks gave him cash from the register, Crisp said.
