HOUSTON - The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed a Houston bank Monday morning.
At 11:30 a.m., the robber entered the Chase Bank at 7803 Longpoint and approached a teller. He pulled back his shirt to reveal a pistol in his waistband and demanded cash. The teller told him there was no cash in that particular drawer. The robber proceeded to a second teller, who told the robber the drawer at that teller station was also empty. The robber then spotted a teller in the midst of a transaction, demanded cash, and snatched the money from the teller's hand. He then fled the bank on foot.
The robber is a black male, 28-30 years old, 5'08" to 5'09" tall, 150-180 pounds, with a dark complexion and a mustache. He was wearing a short sleeve khaki button-down shirt and khaki shorts and carried a black semi-automatic pistol.
