HOUSTON, TX - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the deaths of a man and woman found dead at 6301 West Bellfort about 6:10 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 14).

Their pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

An apartment tenant returned home after several days out of town and discovered a foul odor upon opening the front door.  He called for police, and responding patrol officers discovered the bodies of the man and woman inside one of the bedrooms of the apartment. 

The causes of death were not apparent at the scene, and there is no information regarding any possible suspects at this time.
