FRIENDSWOOD - Police seized narcotics, weapons and cash during a drug arrest at approximately 4:30 a.m. August 20.

Sean Jared Watson, 26, of Heritage Park was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Friendswood Police have been conducting an on-going investigation into sale and delivery of hydrocodone within the City. With information developed during the course of the investigation, Friendswood officers were able to secure an arrest warrant for Watson.  The warrant was served by Friendswood police officers at Baybrook Village apartments, 2801 W. Bay Area Blvd.

Watson was taken into custody without incident.  He remains in the Friendswood municipal jail, pending transfer to the Harris County Jail.  His bond is set at $1,000 each for the narcotics warrants.  Watson was found in possession of several weapons.  Due to a previous felony conviction, Watson was also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.  He is held on that charge with no bond.

In the apartment, police found 301 grams of hydrocodone pills, 75 grams of Soma pills, 10.2 grams of Xanex pills, 20 grams of naproxen pills and four ounces of marijuana.  Police also seized three pistols and $4,000 cash.

Comments:

I wonder how much time/money was put into that investigation.
