Two young brothers and the pilot lose their lives

Two children and an adult are dead after a plane en route to Pearland crashed Sunday in Comal County near Bulverde, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Dylan Lord, 13, his 12-year-old brother, Brandon, and the pilot, Carlos McKinney Jr., 60, were killed when their single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza crashed around 11:30 a.m., DPS Trooper Jason Reyes said.
