CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are not releasing the name of a 58-year-old South Carolina man who was Tasered five days ago and died Friday, because they still haven't contacted his family.
Since Thursday they have used fingerprints to identify him, talked to local homeless shelters, used the U.S. Postal Service and Internet sources in an effort to find his family.
But an investigator with the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office said it took him five minutes on Monday to find a family member contact, which he passed along to police.
