PASADENA, TX -- William "Bill" Terral, Jr. the 53-year old man shot to death this morning by a Pasadena police officer is the same William Terral featured in a story on The Police News website on November 20th when we are alerted to his possible presense in the area by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.  Unfortunately the story was not picked up by other area media until today, after he wounded a police officer and died by the officer's return fire.

At the time The Police News was alerted to Terral 3 warrants had been issued for his arrest in Crockett, Texas for Sexual Assault of a Child, 3 counts of Indecency with a Child and 2 counts of Sexual Performance of a Child.  The cases stemmed from a July investigation by the Houston County Sheriff's Office.

The Police News featured 2 photographs of Terral at the time and urged readers to contact Houston Crime Stoppers.

Terral was known to have family in the Houston area and was believed to be hiding out in the Houston-Pasadena area.
