Friendswood Police Activity November 13 through 19, 2009

Narcotics

Nov. 17 (1:54 p.m.) - Nathaniel Falbo, 21, of Webster was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Falbo was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 2000 block of FM 528. He admitted to being in possession of the drug.

Nov. 16 (12:31 a.m.) - Danielle Thomas, 30, of League City was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Thomas was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of W. Parkwood. She was found to be in possession of Adderall and hydrocodone without a prescription.

Nov. 15 (5:06 p.m.) - Isac Bergeson, 18, of Friendswood was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Bergeson was stopped for a traffic violation in the 3600 block of Laura Leigh. He admitted to being in possession of the drug.

Nov. 15 (1:25 a.m.) - Adam Schuenemann, 18, of Alvin was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Schuenemann was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of E. Parkwood. He allowed officers to search his vehicle. A bag of the drug was found in the car.

Nov. 13 (12:38 a.m.) - Jonathan Hammond, 18, and Brandon Vickers, 19, both of Friendswood were charged with Possession of Marijuana. Hammond was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1500 block of Sun Meadow Blvd. He allowed officers to search his vehicle. Officers found a bag of marijuana that neither Hammond nor his passenger, Vickers, would admit to owning.

Vandalism

Nov. 13 (2:30 p.m.) - A vacant home in the 16700 block of Bougainvilla was reported vandalized. Cabinets had been damaged and sheetrock pulled from the walls.

Burglary

Nov. 16 (4:49 p.m.) - Keith Parker, 23, of Friendswood was charged with Burglary. Parker was observed by a resident of Skyhawk Apartments, 17231 Blackhawk, on the patio of an apartment. Police were provided with a description of the suspect and found Parker hiding inside his own apartment at the complex. He admitted to attempting to break into several of the apartments in the complex.

Nov. 16 (8:26 a.m.) - A Browning pistol and a wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2200 block of S. Mission Circle.

Nov. 16 (1:30 a.m.) - Credit cards, cameras and a radar detector were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1900 block of Coronado.

Nov. 15 (7:40 p.m.) - An attempted burglary was reported in the 16400 block of Paint Rock. The resident found evidence of pry marks on a door to the residence.

Nov. 13 (10:00 a.m.) - Doors to several homes under construction in the Terra Bella subdivision were reported stolen.

Driving While Intoxicated

Nov. 19 (1:19 a.m.) - Mark Davenport, 46, of Seabrook was charged with felony DWI. Davenport was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1500 block of Winding Way. He failed a field sobriety test. Due to previous convictions, he was taken to an area hospital for a mandatory blood test.

Nov. 19 (12:59 a.m.) - Robbie Thompson, 43, of Alvin was charged with DWI. Thompson was stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of W. Edgewood. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

Nov. 17 12:14 a.m.) - Andrew Howell, 19, of Friendswood was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor. Howell was stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of Mary Ann. He admitted to drinking and driving.

Nov. 16 (4:54 a.m.) - Joseph Salinas, 20, of Pearland was charged with DUIABM. Salinas was stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of S. Friendswood. He failed a field sobriety test.

Nov. 15 (2:08 a.m.) - Jeffery Young, 31, of Houston was charged with DWI. Young was stopped for a traffic violation in the 16000 block of Blackhawk. He failed a field sobriety test and registered .158 on a breath test.

Theft

Nov 17 (8:02 a.m.) - Police, with the assistance of the Galveston County Drainage District personnel, recovered four golf carts from Clear Creek. Acting on a tip, police searched the area of the creek between Friendswood Link Road and FM 528. One golf cart was parked on the bank of the creek; the other three were submerged in the water. The carts had been spray painted to hide identifying information. Police were able to remove some of the paint and determine that the carts had been stolen from Magnolia Creek Golf Club in League City. The carts were returned to the golf club and information forwarded to League City police.

Fraud/Identity Theft

Two victims reported unrelated unauthorized use of credit union debit card information to make a purchase.

Victim reported unauthorized use of bank card information to make purchases in Houston. Victim told police that though the card was still in her possession, it had recently been given to a waiter at an area restaurant to pay for a meal.
